Word Student Software For WordNow that was my next dilemma. You will notice that right below In-Aoo Purchase, it says Supports Family Sharing. It was only after I signed out of the Apple Id of my wife's computer and signed into my own purchase Apple ID and downloaded the app that I suddenly understood that anybody with any Apple Id can download the software for Word for Mac by clicking the GET button. By installing the app, you agree to these terms and conditions.Word for Mac doesn't support Family SharingI personally had a lot of trouble understanding how to download the software for Word for Mac on my wife's MacBook Pro which has a different Apple ID than the iMac which I used to buy the Family version of this app. Avast downlaod for macThe Apple Advisors were in the dark as much as me. Because of this confulsion I almost fell back on Pages. Well, once I downloaded the Word for Mac on my wife'MacBook Pro, I signed into a Microsoft account within Word for Mac and that is where the license to run the app on my wife's MacBook Pro was granted. No, the statement which starts out says "Supports Family Sharing? goes on to say that some third party softare (including this one) don't suport Family Sharing! How confusing. But after buying the app, and setting up family sharing, no subscription for Word for Mac was there under supported apps and services under Family Sharing in System Preferences. It used to be that I could just quit the app with whatever open and when I logged back on everything would boot up automatically. As a writer, I tend to work on anywhere from a dozen to two or three dozen stories, essays, and articles every week. However, I am seriously weirded out by it these days. There's no doubt that Word is the most powerful document creating application out there. That is a problem with being too big to care. No response back that I know of. I've written to Microsoft on this problem several times. You'd think at least that there would be a startup page option letting you choose to re-open what was open. Yes, there is the "Recently Open" command, but I don't have time nor do I want to waste my limited intelligence trying to remember what was open and why.
